Internet Brands is grabbing up Automotive Forum sites in what appears to be a surprising move to consolidate the genre.  LS1Tech .com is one large example; links to the news break and the annoucement at LS1Tech above.

Obviously I am behind in understanding Google Blog search.  I see some web sites manage to show up in the blog search results as relevant blogs, which is nice.  I don’t even have my relevant blogs showing up yet.  Google has a help page which discusses how to submit http://www.google.com/help/blogsearch/about_pinging.html and how to ping them when you update your blog, http://blogsearch.google.com/ping

Still working Traffic flow and link development.  We have a wonderful site at http://www.caddyinfo.com  for automotive related links and Site and Forum Sponsors.  I think this is a regular marketing and advertising problem, so I have been learning more about the topics and looking under the rocks people recommend.  Cadillac, luxury, auto accessories, auto loans, auto insurance, or other directly related Sponsors would be ideal.   Caddyinfo.com traces back to Feb of 1998 on an older, free message board system.  Now I am trying to get more focused so that we can reach a wider audience of Cadillac owners.

Modified the feed here for Caddyinfo.com from a direct feed to a Feedburner feed.   ‘Publishing’ via Feedburner appears to have some advantages in terms of audience.

I have spent the last week visiting and studying the current set(s) of social networking and indexing sites.  It seems fairly complex, although with a common goal of simplification.   Unfortunately I find that this service will auto-post with comments to that blog, but not to this one, and that service will work directly with this blog but not with that one.  Neither tends to want to work with our IPB.blog system built into the site.  Hopefully it will all get clearer as we go along; the best way to participate in Cadillac discussion appears to me to continue to be that you visit the http://www.caddyinfo.com site and community forum.  We’d love to have you.

Great to see Cadillac delivered the price range we were hoping on the newly redesigned 20008 CTS.  I’m still enjoying my 05 CTS 3.6L, but the new DI 3.6L certainly looks tempting, not to mention all the other improvements.
